Job Description

Role:
Business Analyst / Project Manager (Healthcare IT Disease Surveillance) We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst / BA PM hybrid to support modernization of state disease surveillance systems. You will lead requirements, workflows, and delivery across IT, epidemiology, and vendor teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead full SDLC efforts from feasibility and design through implementation and postimplementation evaluation Create project plans, WBS, schedules, status reports, and maintain project tracking tools Own risk, issue, and stakeholder management; coordinate crossdepartment communication and expectations Analyze, configure, and support disease surveillance (NEDSS) and related public health systems Document and improve business workflows, drive automation and process reengineering initiatives Act as liaison between endusers, IT, vendors, and leadership to triage, prioritize, and resolve complex issues Produce and maintain clear business, functional, and technical documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor s in CS, IS, Systems Analysis, or related field (Master s preferred) 8+ years IT systems analysis experience 5+ years designing business applications on complex IT systems Strong experience in public health, disease surveillance, or government healthcare projects preferred
