Job Description
This position is located in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Data, Information Management, and Enterprise Governance Division (DIME), Digitization, Proc, and Records Branch (DPRB). The supervisor is Leah Kube. This position is not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is not subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
is defined as:Managing IT Projects:
Independently managing the full life cycle of complex IT projects-including defining requirements, developing and executing project plans, managing risks, tracking progress, and ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget-using recognized project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).Applying Federal IT Policies and Security Requirements:
Applying a working knowledge of federal IT laws, regulations, and policies (such as FISMA and NIST standards), including NRC-specific IT governance and security requirements, to ensure compliance throughout all project phases.Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
Effectively communicating project goals, status, and issues to diverse audiences, including team members, stakeholders, and senior management; preparing written documentation and presentations; and facilitating collaboration and negotiation to resolve project challenges.Analyzing and Solving Complex IT Problems:
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical and managerial project issues using structured problem-solving techniques; escalating issues appropriately; and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal IT Policies, Regulations, and Security Requirements. Demonstrated skill in communication and stakeholder engagement.
