Leveraging Ford's century of manufacturing excellence and world-class battery energy storage systems (BESS) technology, Ford Energy designs, manufactures, and services grid-scale and commercial DC battery energy storage systems (BESS). Ford Energy is uniquely positioned to capture the growing demand for reliable, US-built energy storage systems. At Ford Energy, you have the backing of an industrial manufacturing powerhouse with the agility of a dedicated energy startup offering industry leading technology. We offer a competitive compensation package including performance-based bonuses, Ford vehicle discounts, and the opportunity to shape the energy strategy of one of the world's most iconic brands. In this position... The Battery Module Program Manager will lead the end-to-end development of a next-generation BESS battery module variant, from upfront architecture definition through validation, industrialization, launch, and early production stabilization. This role will work in close partnership with the customer, external module and module manufacturing line suppliers, Ford Energy Engineering, Ford Auto Engineering, Supplier Technical Assistance, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver a module built around LFP prismatic cells and manufactured in Kentucky. This position is accountable for disciplined program execution across timing, scope, quality, cost, and launch readiness. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable driving early-phase module design decisions and leading the cross-functional execution required to bring the module into production. This is a highly visible role that requires technical credibility, strong program leadership, and the ability to align internal and external stakeholders around a common plan.
