Project Engineer

Perform ECU reprogramming, flashing and calibration updates across Powertrain, Body Control Module (BCM), ADAS, and Gateway ECUs using OEM service tools (CDA, bootloader, UDS reprogramming, ISO 14229). Support fleet-wide software release cycles for production and pre-production vehicles. Participate in end-to-end software deployment (wave updates) across vehicle fleets, ensuring software version control, ECU compatibility, configuration management and VIN-level baseline compliance. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) using CAN logs, application diagnostics, electrical validation, and hardware behavior analysis to resolve CAN/LIN communication faults, signal timing mismatches, startup sequencing issues, and software integration defects. Primary worksite is Farmington Hills MI but relocation possible.
