Project Manager -AI/ML & Robotics Job Overview:
- Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key initiatives, timelines, and milestones of the global E2E organization, including the core algorithm teams as well the infrastructure and tooling teams.
- Oversee the execution, ensure all timelines stay aligned, mitigate slips and escalate early.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, marketing, sales) to define product requirements, follow up on the execution.
- Partner with the Product organization to develop and execute project plans, coordinate alignment of product roadmap with program objectives, and ensure successful program delivery.
- Introduce and standardize development processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all AI/ML projects.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI/ML initiatives and guide continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership through impact assessments, risk analysis, and investment proposals.
- Assume responsibility of project's interests in North America and the alignment with the rest of the world (EU and China). This includes resource planning, demo execution and resource allocation.
- Drive horizontal alignment of multiple projects to improve cross-platform integration.
- Provide onsite support for the preparation work of high visibility demo activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong and proven background in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on AI/ML.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in project management or product management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a deep tech / data role within the automotive/robotics/aerospace industry, specifically with ADAS or related technologies.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams covering all competencies from engineering to sales.
- Extensive experience in the automotive industry and automotive development processes (Product Development Process / ASPICE) incl. KPI based software quality tracking.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English.
