As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple enterprise projects in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You'll coordinate project delivery on schedule and within budget, engaging with both internal and external teams, technical contributors, IT managers, and business stakeholders. You will serve as a liaison among project sponsors, vendors, and contributors to ensure all parties remain informed, expectations are managed, and project outcomes are achieved. Your ability to resolve complex issues and facilitate communication will be essential to the success of various initiatives assigned by IT leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing projects within the defined scope, quality, time, and budget constraints to deliver on specified requirements and meet sponsor, management, and stakeholder expectations. Delivering project milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality assurance, and control measures. Coordinating and motivating project team members; managing project resources, assignments, and deliverables. Establishing, updating, and maintaining comprehensive project plans and schedules with both forecasted and actual data. Facilitating regular status reports, team meetings, steering committee sessions, and oversight meetings for clear and continuous project communication. Liaising with sponsors, customers, vendors, and internal partners, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring expectations are properly managed among all stakeholders. Leading project closeout activities, including lessons learned, closing financials, archiving documentation, and ensuring a seamless handoff for ongoing support. Capturing and communicating project requirements, goals, objectives, and business cases throughout the project lifecycle. Adhering to organizational project management methodologies, standards, and best practices; providing training and guidance where needed; and recommending improvements. Documenting, obtaining approval for, and enforcing project change management processes for stakeholders. Tracking and managing project budgets and expenditures, providing regular budget reports to management as required. Facilitating project risk review, mitigation planning, and contract reviews, including statements of work and relevant signoffs. Participating in resource interviews and approvals, including contract resources and potential new hires for project teams. Essential Skills, Experience Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of progressive experience in IT project management. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, terminology, and best practices. Demonstrated goal orientation, action focus, pragmatic decision-making, and strong self-discipline. Advanced skills in project planning, organizational leadership, motivation, and effective delegation within technical teams. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with proven experience facilitating discussions among cross-functional stakeholders. Experience with comprehensive risk management and mitigation in a project environment. Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities and manage challenging situations to resolution.
Qualifications:
Experience with the banking industry or projects in the financial sector is a plus. Prior experience leading fraud prevention or related security projects is highly desirable. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification strongly preferred. Familiarity with Project Portfolio Management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or Sciforma is beneficial.

$60.00 - $70.00 per hour
