What you will do in this role As a technical project manager, you will be responsible for establishing a lightweight, agile, project governance (tools, templates, cadence). Additionally, you will need to ensure that you are managing the inventory of active projects and assessing the overall project health (what's at risk, what's blocked, and what's working). This role will require coordination across functional disciplines and must be able to build trust with stakeholders. Experience working with external vendors is needed to be successful in this role. This role reports to the IS Strategist and is located on-site at our Cary, NC office.Responsibilities Project Portfolio:

Managing consulting relationships, holding vendors accountable, ensuring valueStakeholder Management:
Business leaders, executives, cross-functional teams•keeping everyone alignedBudget & Timeline Accountability:
Projects deliver what they promised, when they promised, for the budget expectedRisk & Issue Management:
Identifying problems early, escalating appropriately, driving resolutionDelivery Discipline:
Building project management capability. Required Skills/Qualifications Project/Program Management 5•7 years managing technology-enabled business initiatives PMP or similar certification a plus Experience managing both internal teams and external vendors Comfortable with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches Experience managing $100k•multi-million-dollar projects Experience in implementing project management discipline in organizations Technical Fluency Understands ERP implementations (D365 a plus). Specific experience with D365 and Microsoft ecosystem a plus Understands technical documentation and architectural discussions Understands basic system architecture Understands SDLC, integrations, API/EDI Business Acumen Ag-chem, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing experience strongly preferred Understands and can challenge business requirements constructively Understands ROI, CapEx/OpEx, and can make sound business cases Why Atticus?
