The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, serverless cloud-based data solutions, leveraging GCP services such as Bigtable, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and stakeholder collaboration.

Any Visa Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects on GCP, ensuring timely and high-quality execution. Manage cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and stakeholders across business and technology domains. Design and oversee scalable, serverless data solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Bigtable, and Cloud SQL. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop robust data pipelines using Python and cloud-native tools. Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. Drive Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure data quality, governance, and security, best practices are followed across all implementations. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Technical Project Management roles. Strong hands-on experience with Python. Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, and serverless architecture. Proven experience managing cloud-based data engineering projects. Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer). Experience with additional GCP services such as Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
