Position:
NYSDOH needs temporary contractual services to support the vendor hosted data system for the New York Early Intervention Program (EIP). This application is used to address the Early Intervention Program's (EIP's) functions of child referral and intake, case management, developmental evaluations, service planning, service delivery, service providers' claiming, provider application and approval, reporting, auditing, and compliance with federal and State requirements. The individual in this position will primarily be responsible for overseeing the testing of the Program's data system and will act as a liaison between Program staff and the third-party vendor. Selected Candidate:
This position will work closely with the Program staff, Project Manager, and Third-party vendor managers, along with the technical team (Business Analyst, Tester) helping to ensure that system assignments are moving forward and projects are delivered on time. Tasks can include those relating to testing system updates and software releases, developing/updating all documents related to NYS data systems, supporting User Acceptance Testing, and directing subordinate staff.
Administrative Tasks:
Attend and participate in meetings, prepare a weekly report, complete
NYS LATS
timecard daily. Work closely with Project Manager and DOH Manager on active/pending projects, primarily the system updates, including software releases. Test data scripts and assist the program area with performing User Acceptance Testing of the vendor supplied solution.
