Position Description:
Provides Program Management for complex cross-functional programs within the Research and Development arena. Independently develops CCPM project plans, interfaces with Technology, Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality and Reliability, Supply Chain, Finance, Environmental Health and Safety, and other departments as require d. Independently builds project plans around existing technology project portfol io.

Takes ownership for overall project schedule; Drives projects to completion on-time and on-budg et.

Builds interfaces between organizations to ensure successful hand-of fs.

Negotiate project goals and develop mitigation pla ns.

Manage program review meetings, track action items, and motivate program stakeholde rs.

Maintain software infrastructure to keep project plans and action items up to da te.
Education/Experie nce:
5 - 7 years' experience in Program Manag ement5 years' experience in Research and Development environment preferred. Ideally around New Product / Process (development through roll out to high volume manufacturing) and change management of existing technologies and prod ucts.5 - 7 years' experience using MS Project or equivalent project management toolsPMP or PgMP certification, prefe rred.3 years
TOC/CCPM
Program Management experience, prefe rred.

BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field, requ ired.

BS degree Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, prefe rred.

MS Degree in Engineering Discipline, prefe rred.

MBA will be considered but must have technology experi ence.
Required Skills/Compete ncies:
Demonstrated project management skills in a technology development envir onment.

Intermediate understanding of Quality and Reliability requirements to bring new products or processes to manufac turing.

Intermediate to Advanced negotiation skills to obtain cooperation and commitment to project delive rables.

Intermediate to Advanced skills in all aspects of project planning and ex ecutionIntermediate proficiency in project management software - MS Project, Concerto an ad vantageCapable of providing program management of 3 to 5 projects simulta neouslyCommunicates clearly, oral and written, across the organi zation.

Strong assertive characteristics to push projects through to comp letion.

Partners with stakeholders to coordinate resources, activities, and priorities for rapid project comp letion.

Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to assertively motivate project partic ipants.
Physical Requi rements:
The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to read materials and participate in meetings.
