Full-Time | Hybrid/FlexibleLead the Future of Water InfrastructureWe are seeking a Technical Manager to oversee engineering delivery for complex Water & Wastewater Conveyance projects. This is a leadership role for someone who excels in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and partnering with municipal clients on critical water infrastructure programs.

The OpportunityAs the Technical Manager, you will guide engineering execution across multiple project types-including traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery. You'll ensure technical quality, coordinate cross-discipline work, and cultivate strong client relationships.

In this role, you will:

Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on major municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects.

Provide technical oversight, review, and direction for project deliverables.

Mentor, develop, and support engineering staff.

Manage project budgets, schedules, risk, and quality expectations.

Act as a key technical contact for clients and stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & DeliveryPrepare and review complex engineering designs and calculations.

Serve as technical lead and responsible charge across assigned projects.

Recommend materials, equipment, and technical solutions.

Ensure engineering deliverables meet project goals, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Project & Team ManagementCoordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines.

Lead production teams and provide daily technical direction.

Review work from junior and mid-level engineers.

Support staffing, performance management, and career development within the team.

Client & Stakeholder EngagementUnderstand and address key client drivers, priorities, and concerns.

Communicate project updates, technical issues, and solutions.

Support proposal development and pursuit activities.

Assist in managing scope changes and project modifications.

Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience in engineering consultingTechnical leadership experience on water/wastewater conveyance projectsFamiliarity with large-diameter pipelines, pumping stations, and municipal infrastructureMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineeringAbility to complete required pre-employment screening (background check, drug test, MVR as applicable)Work EnvironmentHybrid work flexibility available post-onboardingVideo/audio collaboration tools used regularlyOccasional travel to client sitesExtended periods of computer-based workReady to Lead Impactful Water Infrastructure Projects?
