Full-Time | Hybrid/FlexibleLead Engineering Delivery for Advanced Water & Wastewater ProjectsWe are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee engineering execution across a wide range of Water & Wastewater projects - including advanced treatment facilities, major underground conveyance systems, and carbon-neutral infrastructure solutions. This role is ideal for a technical leader who excels at coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams and delivering high-impact municipal projects.

The OpportunityAs a Technical Manager, you will manage engineering components across traditional, design-build, design‑bid‑build, and collaborative delivery projects. Your leadership will shape complex technical solutions, guide diverse engineering staff, and strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on major water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.

Provide technical oversight and direction for engineering deliverables.

Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering long-term growth and capability.

Manage project budgets, schedules, risk, and quality requirements.

Serve as a key point of contact for clients, aligning project goals with client expectations.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionPrepare and review complex engineering deliverables for large or multi‑project assignments.

Develop and verify detailed engineering calculations.

Recommend technical solutions, materials, and equipment based on project needs.

Oversee and coordinate all engineering activities across multiple disciplines.

Serve as responsible charge for assigned work packages.

Client & Stakeholder EngagementIdentify client priorities and key project drivers.

Communicate client concerns or challenges to internal teams and drive solutions.

Support pursuit and proposal development activities.

Manage scope changes with client oversight and project manager coordination.

Technical ExpertiseLead technical execution for large water and wastewater treatment facility upgrades, expansions, and conveyance systems.

Contribute to design strategy and technical decision-making for complex projects.

Resolve technical challenges in support of project goals and performance requirements.

Leadership & People DevelopmentReview engineering work completed by junior and mid-level staff.

Provide mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback.

Support staffing needs and develop future leaders in the engineering team.

Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience in engineering consultingExperience leading multi-discipline water/wastewater treatment plant (WTP/WWTP) upgrades and expansion projectsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experienceAbility to complete all required pre-employment screening (e.g., background check, drug test, MVR as applicable)Work EnvironmentHybrid work flexibility available after initial onboarding periodExtended periods of computer-based workUse of virtual collaboration toolsOccasional travel to client sitesJoin UsIf you're driven by technical excellence, meaningful infrastructure work, and the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, we'd be excited to speak with you.
