This role works across clinical, operational, health plan, and pharmacy functions alongside AI product development and organizational leadership to identify and advance the AI opportunities that matter most. This role keeps Geisinger AI product squads moving with clarity and discipline, creating the conditions where strong ideas actually ship.
Position Summary:
This is a role for someone who gets energy from making teams work better. You will be embedded across Geisinger AI product squads, helping cross functional groups that span product, data science, engineering, and clinical operations move faster, communicate better, and deliver with consistency. You will adapt your approach to fit how each team actually works rather than enforcing a rigid framework, and you will be the person who sees problems coming before they become blockers.
Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities Make cross functional AI product squads more effective by facilitating planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily coordination in whatever form fits each team best Coach product managers, data scientists, engineers, and clinical partners on agile principles and how they apply in a complex healthcare environment Identify and resolve blockers before they stall delivery, managing dependencies across product, platform, governance, and clinical teams and escalating when needed Maintain clear visibility into tasks, issues, risks, and action items across squads, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks as work moves through the delivery cycle Plan and organize sprint demos and product testing events, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved and that feedback loops are tight and productive Collaborate across IT, clinical, and operational teams to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time and that resource gaps do not quietly become delivery problems Track and improve the health of delivery across the portfolio, using flow metrics and team feedback to identify where things are slowing down and why Keep portfolio leadership informed on delivery progress with timely, accurate, and actionable status communication Support onboarding of new team members and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the AI product function Work is typically performed in an office or remote environment. Required Qualifications:
3 or more years of experience in an agile delivery, facilitation, or team lead role in a complex enterprise environment Demonstrated ability to flex across delivery frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid approaches Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent; SAFe or advanced certifications a plus Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to create psychological safety on teams Familiarity with backlog and delivery management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms Comfort navigating ambiguity and organizational complexity in large health systems or similarly regulated industries Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting AI, data science, or machine learning product teams Exposure to Epic implementation or healthcare IT delivery environments Experience supporting multiple product teams simultaneously within a larger delivery program Understanding of healthcare operations, clinical informatics, or revenue cycle workflows
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years-Relevant experience• (Required), Minimum of 3 years-Managing people, processes, or projects (Required) Certification(s) and License(s): Certified Scrum Master (CSM) -
