The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. Position:
This senior level position is responsible for managing and administering agency specific and enterprise agency applications and tools. Activities include the verification of the architectural integrity of the application environment, recommend solutions based on the results of technical impact analysis on all proposed infrastructure changes to ensure feasibility and cost effectiveness and develop and manage configuration management standards, processes, and policies. This individual will be looked upon to provide technical support to other team members and evaluate new agency applications and tools. This position mainly supports the development and maintenance of Higher Education Institutional Data Inventory (HEIDI) and IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD). Also expected to support Business Objects for Management Information DataBase (MIDB).

Position Location:
This position is located in Lansing, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

Alternate Education and Experience Information Technology Project Manager 14 Possession of a Project Management Professional, (PMP) certification may be substituted for the experience requirement. Possession of a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification may be substituted for 1 year of the experience requirement.
