GroupOne Consulting is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator, with a passion for supporting a team of project engineers in delivering cutting-edge technology projects, to join our Professional Services team. Under general supervision of the COO, the Project Coordinator plays a key role in delivering on our brand when executing Professional Services projects. This position provides support to our Project Engineers and Clients. This role provides resource allocation/scheduling, rescheduling, client coordination and general office administrative support. This position has the primary responsibility of customer service, resource scheduling, work-log quality assurance for our projects, tickets and day-to-day project activities. Primary Responsibilities
Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to coordination efforts
Enter and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in project management systems
Build draft project baseline schedules for review with the Project Engineer
Assign tasks to internal teams and support schedule tracking & updates
Communicate with clients to coordinate scheduling and follow-ups for all project-related tasks
Identify and escalate potential project risks to the Project Engineer
Assist in resolving project blockers and workflow issues in collaboration with the Project Engineer
Adjust resource allocation based on project need and established guidelines
Perform quality assurance checks on project tickets and documentation
Monitor project hours, budgets and expenditures using internal tools
Coordinate the project close processes o Internal project QA o Internal close meetings o Client close meetings
Coordinate Project handoff to the Managed Services team
Manage equipment and technical tool check-out/check-in process
Conduct account research and gather relevant project information for the team
Provide general administrative and project support as needed
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all client information
Additional duties as required Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline is desirable
1 to 5 years Windows experience and 1 to 2 years of customer service experience
Any equivalent combination of education and experience
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
