IT Project Manager

Wage:
$88,650 - $120,000 / per year•
Job Duties:
Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects, including full-stack software development initiatives using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Vue.js, Azure Functions, and MongoDB/SQL. Lead and guide the work of technical staff, providing architectural direction on topics such as API development, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects by translating business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met, utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps Boards, or GitHub Projects. Manage project execution to ensure adnce to budget, schedule, and scope, including oversight of sprint planning, release management, and resource allocation. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems related to application performance, DevOps pipelines, or data architecture. Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables using project management frameworks, employing tools such as project dashboards. Submit project deliverables including source code, solution architecture diagrams, API documentation, technical specifications, and test results, ensuring adnce to quality standards. Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans, evaluating impacts on system design, integration points, development workflows, and cross-team technical dependencies. Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects, including project kickoffs, stakeholder reviews, status updates, and change-control discussions. Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel ensuring alignment on coding standards, Git branching strategies, peer code reviews, unit and integration testing, and DevOps workflows. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, and staffing. Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback related to technical proficiency, code quality, productivity metrics, adnce to Agile practices, and overall collaboration. Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel. Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel including defining roles for backend developers, frontend developers and DevOps engineers. Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Vue.js. Lead the entire build from design to deployment - working with a small team of developers. Lead code reviews & translate requirements into roadmaps and deliverables. Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Python, and MongoDB databases. Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and deployment processes. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements:
Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted.
Special Requirements:
Position requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills: 1. Use Vue.js to build production-grade web application. 2. Develop engineering tools and automation scripts using Python. 3. Build and maintain backend Function Apps with Node.js. 4. Work with MongoDB for data storage and management. 5. Set up and manage CI/CI pipeline using Microsoft Azure DevOps. 6. Use AI-assisted development tools like Github Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude. 7. Design functional UI with Quasar framework. • Reflects annual base salary.
