This is a hybrid opportunity based inat any of our locations in Evanston, IL; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Ottawa, Canada. TheLead Standards Project Managerwill support a diverse portfolio of standards and lead the development and implementation of safety standards projects to advance the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The Lead Standards Project Manager willleverageproject managementexpertisetofacilitatethe development and maintenance of standards, and manage activities throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating interdependencies and driving collaboration across teams to ensure seamless execution and successful project outcomes.

Whatyou'lllearnandachieve:
AstheLead Standards Project Manager,youwill play a key role in the rapid growth ofULas you: Lead and managestandardsactivities to enable the development,implementationand continuous improvement of safety standards. Oversee end-to-end projects, plan and execute activities across the project lifecycle and ensuretimelyand high-quality deliverables. Serve as a recognized resource for guidance and best practices within the program or technical area. Contribute to the program management associated with assigned standards providing input and recommendations related to portfolio of standards. Forecastprojectneedsandanticipateissues. Develop and apply end-to-end solutions and implement proactive strategies to address complex,undefinedand ambiguous challenges. Drive collaboration within the team to ensure team-level goal achievement and enable success in effective execution ofstandardsactivities. Facilitateround table discussions and workshops with internal and external stakeholders. Engage in technical committees and other standards-related activities within specific industry sectors or categories. Develop relationships within the broader safety community. Impact and influence the standards development community through work in technical or program area. Identifyopportunities for program expansion, ensure the continuous evolution and relevance of safetystandardsand create capacity for new high-impact standards. Maintaincontinued awareness of industry trends and external context related to the portfolio. Stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks governing public safety.
