ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking a Manager, LIMS Applications to work a hybrid schedule in Manassas, VA. This leader serves as solution architect and platform owner for L7's Enterprise Science Platform (ESP), driving validated, data-driven laboratory and bioproduction workflows across LIMS, MES, and ELN in a regulated environment. This is a hybrid role in Manassas, VA. #LI-Hybrid Responsibilities Platform architecture & governance: Own ESP technical direction, standards, and roadmaps to deliver scalable, secure, maintainable solutions aligned to enterprise architecture and laboratory strategy. Establish change control, release management, and configuration governance to minimize technical debt. Delivery & lifecycle execution: Lead requirements, design, configuration, testing/validation, deployment, and steady-state support for
ESP LIMS/MES/ELN.
Coordinate environments and releases to ensure predictable delivery and system reliability. Integrations & digital lab enablement: Design and implement integrations across LIMS, lab instruments, third-party applications, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, data platforms). Ensure interoperability, traceability, and robust data flows supporting GxP expectations. Team & stakeholder leadership: Manage and mentor a blended onshore/offshore engineering team and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within scope. Translate scientific and operational needs into actionable backlogs and solutions. Compliance, security & documentation: Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT to support audits, address risks, and maintain policy/regulatory alignment. Produce controlled documentation, solution designs, SOPs, training, and user support materials to drive adoption and audit readiness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. 7+ years of enterprise application experience, including 2+ years in a formal management or lead role. Proven L7 ESP experience across full lifecycle implementation and operational support for LIMS, MES, and ELN. Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional platforms and make architecture decisions that balance risk, compliance, and delivery. Strong knowledge of regulated laboratory/manufacturing workflows, validation practices, and quality system expectations (e.g., controlled documentation, change control). Hands-on proficiency with Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, HTML, and CSS; adherence to secure coding standards and best practices. Experience integrating instruments and enterprise systems using modern integration patterns and rigorous testing.
Preferred:
Experience in GMP/GxP environments and audit support.

Familiarity with data governance and analytics enablement (e.g., data warehouse/lake integrations). Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $165,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program. We Invest in
