Job Description
Work Schedule and Other Information Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the office the first six months. After the initial six months and good performance, we will evaluate to moving to a hybrid schedule if desired along with flexible hours based on a forty-hour work week. Brief Description Under general guidance, the Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing large-scale projects, including the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans for HRSD Information Technology system implementations and upgrades. The Senior IT Project Manager collaborates with IT staff and business users to clarify business needs, then creates detailed project management plans to ensure the successful execution of work aligned with HRSD's strategic initiatives. Additionally, the role involves formulating and maintaining documentation related to system and business application software implementation projects. Detailed Description Job Requirements Education Required Bachelor's degree in an information technology related field, communications, or other relevant areas of study or a combination of education, experience, and/or certification(s) that provide the necessary technical competencies to perform in this position. Education equivalency equals two years of directly related professional experience for every year of education not completed. The stated experience is in addition to any experience used to meet the education equivalency. Experience Required Minimum of four years as an analyst or project/program manager/coordinator of progressively complex tasks and work assignments. Broad knowledge of systems design, implementation and integration best practices. Desired Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification. Project management experience involving enterprise application implementations. Licenses and Certifications Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license from state of residence.
