Contract Role Overview We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead projects with a technical focus. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from definition through implementation, to maintain and enhance our organization's technological effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and creating artifacts that support project deliverables while managing budgets and tracking progress. Key Responsibilities Lead technically focused projects, utilizing Clarity and Jira extensively. Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Coordinate resources and timetables with user departments to complete projects on schedule. Develop tracking mechanisms and artifacts to support project deliverables and ensure they are within budget. Conduct system audits of implemented technologies to verify application results. Implement disaster recovery, back-up procedures, and information security structures. Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by staying current on industry practices.
Required Qualifications Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline is required.
Experience:
5+ years of project management experience in the IT industry. Experience in Finance or Healthcare is also relevant.
Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with Clarity and Jira is required. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is necessary.
Soft Skills:
This position requires effective verbal and written communication, strong risk assessment abilities, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure. The ability to lead with positivity is essential. Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification is a plus. Diversity in project experience. Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Cyber Security knowledge. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00/hour to $66.50/hour. This is a contract role with the potential for a 12-month extension and conversion to a permanent position. Equipment will be provided for this role. This employer is an equal opportunity employer.
