243 Job Description The Digital Development Team Lead provides organizational leadership and operational expertise to the Digital Development team. They will focus on ensuring appropriate resources are assigned to projects while promoting and improving new and established technologies, efficiencies, and operational excellence. They will partner with the Sr Digital Team Lead to ensure all aspects of the team are running as efficiently and effectively as possible including technology, systems, utilization, workload, team dynamics, coaching, and training. They work closely with the Client's technology lead to establish best practices for use of the various platforms, hardware, and software and ensure compliance with Client's digital policies and procedures. They work closely with the Digital PM Team Lead to ensure established processes are being followed for project success. This role is fully remote but requires someone to work EST daytime hours and be fluent in English. This role will regularly work with team members in the US andLATAM KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership- Manages full-stack, front-end, and back-end developers
- Serves as first point of escalation for the Digital Development team
- Accountable for quality, accuracy, efficiency, and consistency of deliverables
- Works with the QA specialists to ensure that established processes are implemented and followed
- Provides technical operations and process guidance to the team
- Demonstrates a real sense of caring for the team's professional and personal well-being
- Encourages a positive nurturing and professional culture that values and is committed to excellence and continuous improvement Operations
- Assigns projects to appropriate digital team resources based on availability, workload, and skillset while monitoring the utilization of individual contributors
- Anticipates production obstacles to ensure accurate and on-time delivery
- Takes ownership of projects to ensure delivery of a quality product within timeline and budget
- Proactively troubleshoots timing, resource, and technical issues and responds to evolving business needs and quick-turn requests
- Champions operational best practices, policies, workflows, and procedures
- Attends client intake meetings, partners with clients and account services, and provides subject-matter expertise
- Prepares reviews and/or presents estimates/SOWs to internal and external stakeholders
- Provides guidance on all available platforms for development solutions
- Evaluates and recommends new hardware and software that will improve efficiency and keep the team on the leading edge of digital development work
- Supports the configuration and administration of application and database servers
- Supports the administration of development workflow tools including Jira and GitHub
- Stays current on IT and all corporate policies and procedures to ensure team compliance when executing development projects Staff Management and Resourcing
- Coaches mentors and develops team members relative to departmental technologies processes and workflows
- Proactively addresses team members' performance issues
- Provides appropriate feedback on team performance
- Assists in functional area onboarding and training for new hires
- Fosters a team spirit that is reflective of team members' collective personalities Skills and knowledge required

- In-depth working knowledge of: Waterfall and agile development methodologies
- Back-end development and front-end development experience including industry standard technologies and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, Server-side architecture, and tools required to create, manage, and deploy websites
- Additional expertise in (or equivalents): SharePoint Online, Office 365, Cloud Services (AWS & Cloud Foundry), Wordpress, GIT-based source control repositories, Jira, issue and project tracking, HTML email creation, Google Analytics, Windows and Mac platforms
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a digital team leader with a minimum of 3 years having direct management responsibility of developers
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a digital development role
- Minimum 3 years' experience in digital project management
- Agency experience a plus
