As a Technical Program Manager, you will oversee highly complex and large-scale projects from initiation to completion by exercising best program management practices. You'll report to the SVP, Engineering & HS Code Managed Services. This is a remote opportunity.

Oversee highly complex and large-scale projects from initiation to completion by exercising best program management practices. Responsible for facilitating Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes and program execution, drive successful releases, escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement. Facilitate program level work within the Avalara SDLC framework and coordinate all teams across the organization. Maintain oversight to Dependency Management, facilitate Scrum of Scrum meetings and drive a set of software programs through the life cycle to successful completion and maintenance. Responsible for all phases of Program Increment (PI) planning, including facilitating PI planning readiness and directing pre- and post-PI planning meetings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any information technology project and/or program management role, including 3 years of experience in each of the following: IT project and program management, overseeing highly complex and large-scale projects and strategic initiatives from initiation to completion. End-to-end SDLC using Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), SCRUM and API, including all phases of Program Increment (PI) planning, including facilitating PI planning readiness and directing Pre and Post PI planning meetings Coordinating across multiple teams, identifying and mitigating dependencies and risks and resolving impediments to drive program predictability and velocity Software development using C#, .NET, Python, HTML5, jQuery, SQL, JIRA, and XML Establishing KPIs Feature prioritization and estimation with focus on business value Developing operational processes and process improvement. Cloud platforms, including Azure All experience may be gained concurrently. All qualification claims will undergo rigorous verification to ensure accuracy. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
40+ hours per week; $182,007/year Base wage may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee's role.
