Technical Program Manager (Government Experience Required)
Duration:
12 Months Hybrid Work Schedule (Seattle, WA) Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead a large-scale cloud-based data warehouse transformation for a public-sector organization. This role is responsible for modernizing legacy systems, integrating siloed data, and delivering a secure, scalable analytics platform that enables faster, more reliable decision-making and improved public service outcomes. The TPM will own end-to-end program delivery, aligning government stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors while managing governance, risk, and organizational change in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. Importance of this Role Drive a major cloud data transformation to modernize legacy platforms and integrate fragmented data sources Enable faster, more reliable, and data-driven decision-making across the organization Deliver a scalable, secure, and sustainable data and analytics ecosystem Improve operational efficiency, compliance, and public service delivery outcomes Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in technical program or project management Proven leadership managing large, complex technology programs with multiple stakeholders Strong experience working within government or public-sector environments Familiarity with data governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks Demonstrated experience delivering modern data platforms and analytics ecosystems Experience spanning both program management and project-level execution PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or comparable certification Deep understanding of cloud data architectures and enterprise integrations Strong vendor management and contract delivery experience Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate strategically while maintaining hands-on delivery oversight Proven success leading transformational initiatives in regulated environments What Success Looks Like Legacy systems modernized into a scalable, cloud-based data platform Integrated, high-quality data enabling timely and confident decision-making Strong governance, risk controls, and compliance adherence Improved operational efficiency and measurable public service impact Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
