Provide analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, tools. Coordinate the development of design requirements, design, test, document, and implement systems and programs. Ensure systems are developed to meet clients' business needs and expectations. Use technical tools and skills, as well as specific applications and their business functions to complete final testing for conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications. Handle the development of modifications as needed. Develop, enhance, and maintain quality application systems to support the client area. Communicate project-related information to relevant parties timely and accurately. Encourage innovation and creativity in technology solutions. Liaise with other applications developers. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Technology (Any), or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Performing Agile development, design, and implementations in COBOL, CICS, and DB2 Mainframe technologies; Utilizing Python, JAVA, and Angular frameworks to integrate with various vendor and third-party products; Integrating front-end and back-end technologies to deliver seamless and scalable applications; Utilizing Kubernetes building blocks to test cloud native applications, and deploy and troubleshoot a stand-alone application; Using Jenkins, Gitlab and Azure in CI/CD pipelines, Deploying solutions across mainframe and cloud platforms, troubleshooting performance issues, and managing automated workflows for multi-channel delivery; Utilizing Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL relational databases, AND MongoDB, and Cassandra NoSQL databases; and Using OpenText's Extreme product to compose documents in IBM's AFP, and implementing documents on Exstream Mainframe and Cloud platform.   • $170,000.
00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
