ERP Implementation Project Manager (Contract - 9-12 Months)

Full-time preferred (flexible for the right candidate) About Us We are an established industrial distribution company located in Anderson, South Carolina currently implementing a new ERP platform and transitioning from QuickBooks to Acumatica. We are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Project Manager to lead and coordinate the internal side of the implementation process. This individual will work closely with company leadership, department teams, and our external ERP implementation partner to help ensure a successful transition. This is a temporary contract role expected to last approximately 9-12 months during implementation and go-live. Responsibilities Serve as the internal project lead for ERP implementation activities Coordinate with external Acumatica implementation consultants and internal stakeholders Assist with migration from QuickBooks to Acumatica Help manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and priorities Coordinate data migration, validation, cleanup, and testing activities Document workflows, business processes, and ERP requirements Support inventory, purchasing, accounting, sales, and operational process mapping Facilitate user training, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management Identify implementation risks, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities Support go-live preparation and post-launch stabilization
Preferred Experience Required:
Experience participating in or leading ERP implementations Strong project coordination and organizational skills Experience working cross-functionally with operations, accounting, inventory, and management teams Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
Preferred:
Acumatica ERP implementation experience QuickBooks migration experience Distribution, manufacturing, inventory, or industrial business background Experience with inventory control, purchasing, accounting, or operational workflows PMP certification or project management background a plus Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has previously worked on ERP transitions and understands the challenges involved with data migration, process redesign, user adoption, and implementation coordination. Experience with Acumatica , distribution operations , or QuickBooks migrations is highly preferred. Compensation Compensation will be based on experience and implementation background.
