IT Senior Project Manager Location:

Columbia, SC, Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, other days as required by project planned deliverables)

Day:

Lead several projects (one to five) in a strong matrix environment, executing Software Development Lifecycle methodologies. Developing and monitoring project plans, communication plans, risk management plans, and project artifacts from project initiation to post-implementation/closure. Ensures project deliverables are complete on time, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with the client's standards: Responsible daily for the development, execution, and maintenance of project plans and project communications: facilitating effective communications between all parties involved in the project, including meetings, correspondence/recaps, status reports and other project artifacts per BCBSSC standards. Monitors resource requirements and assigned deliverables based on project specifications. Ensures resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted. Identifies and manages tasks and issues that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort to ensure delivery as planned. Provides both written and verbal project status updates upon request.

Required Technologies:

Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams, etc.) The candidate should be familiar with IT SDLC as this is a Senior-level position.

Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate's degree in any major.

Required Work Experience:

5 years IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 2 years of experience leading two or more concurrent project teams. Completion of the BCBSSC Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of experience.
