The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the coordination, tracking, and successful execution of complex IT and telehealth projects across the organization. This role supports the expansion, maintenance, and innovation of the telehealth technology services, ensuring projects align with healthcare delivery goals and regulatory standards. Working closely with IT leadership, vendors, and project managers, the IT Project Coordinator plays a critical role in enhancing virtual care capabilities. The IT Project Coordinator will manage cross-functional activities, facilitate collaboration, and support continuous improvement of project practices. This role also focuses on technical aspects, ensuring seamless integration of IT systems with clinical workflows. Serve as a liaison between IT, clinical teams, vendors, compliance, and administration and the Telehealth Manager, ensuring seamless project delivery and high-quality results. Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures. Coordinate implementation and upgrades of telehealth technologies, working closely with the Telehealth Analysts to assess hardware compatibility and performance. Track and report on key performance metrics for telehealth programs. 5 Develop and deliver training programs for staff and healthcare providers on telehealth platforms and best practices.
Qualifications/Training:
Experience in project management or coordination, preferably in healthcare or telehealth Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Excellent leadership and team management abilities Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Problem solving and analytical capabilities
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare administration, business administration, project management, or related; master's degree preferred Project management certification preferred About Us Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses.
