Lochner - learn more about us We are seeking a U.S. Project Deliver Leader to join our organization. The U.S. Project Delivery Leader is responsible for driving excellence, consistency, and performance across all project delivery functions. This role will lead the implementation, adoption, and governance of P2 (project performance) process across U.S. operations, ensuring disciplined execution of projects and contracts. Reporting to the U.S. Chief Operations Officer, this individual will enhance operational rigor, strengthen risk management practices, and ensure projects are delivered in alignment with contractual commitments, client expectations, and company standards. Key Responsibilities P2 Process Rollout & Governance Lead the deployment and sustained adoption of P2 process across all U.S. business entities Ensure teams clearly understand roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities in contract execution Establish governance, compliance tracking, and reporting mechanisms tied to P2 Contract Performance & Delivery Excellence Drive achievement of contract performance objectives across all projects Ensure consistent and disciplined contract management practices across the U.S. and alignment with Egis Group standards Promote clarity in "who does what" in project and contract execution to eliminate ambiguity and improve accountability Standardize delivery frameworks, tools, and reporting across regions and markets Risk Management & Controls Lead a proactive approach to identifying, managing, and mitigating risks associated with contract execution Strengthen project controls, including scope, schedule, cost, and change management Ensure effective escalation of risks and issues at the appropriate levels Reduce exposure to claims, disputes, and financial underperformance Operational Performance & Financial Outcomes Drive utilization performance across the delivery organization through proactive resource planning Accelerate backlog conversion into revenue through disciplined project start-up and execution Enable work sharing across regions and teams to bridge workload gaps and optimize resource deployment Lead and institutionalize monthly project reviews to monitor performance, risks, and corrective actions Reduce gross profit erosion and project overruns through early intervention, strong controls, and accountability Implement project health assessments for key and at-risk projects, ensuring visibility and timely executive action Improve project profitability, schedule adherence, and cost predictability Partner with finance to enhance forecasting, margin management, and portfolio visibility Leadership, Capability Building & Organizational Alignment Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and delivery teams Establish and oversee a structured Project Management training program aligned with P2 principles Promote best practices in project management, contract administration, and delivery execution Collaborate with regional and practice leaders to align delivery with strategic priorities Support post-merger integration by embedding consistent delivery and contract management practices Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement Client Delivery & Strategic Projects Ensure consistent, high-quality client delivery aligned with contractual commitments Provide oversight on high-risk, complex, or strategic projects Support major pursuits with clear execution strategies and delivery planning Advance best practices in alternative delivery models (design-build, P3, CM) Systems, Tools & Continuous Improvement Drive adoption of Oracle Project Portfolio Management in support of P2 Champion the use of Bentley ProjectWise as the standard platform for document management, collaboration, and project information control Ensure integration of tools and data to support transparency, compliance, and performance tracking Leverage data, dashboards, and analytics to improve decision-making Identify opportunities to enhance delivery through digital tools and AI Lead continuous improvement initiatives across project execution and governance Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field 15+ years of experience in project delivery within the A/E/C or infrastructure industry Proven leadership experience overseeing large, multidisciplinary project portfolios Experience with complex delivery models (design-build, P3, progressive delivery) Skills & Competencies Strong operational and financial acumen Deep understanding of project management principles, risk management, and controls Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization Exceptional communication and executive presence Change management and integration experience preferre Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of contract performance objectives Compliance and adoption rates of the P2 process Project profitability and margin performance On-time and on-budget delivery Reduction in contract risk exposure, claims, and disputes Adoption and effectiveness of project management training programs Client satisfaction metrics Joining Lochner means gaining access to a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support your health and financial well-being throughout your career.
