Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified, detail oriented Project Manager to lead IT Help Desk Support Services in a Department of Defense environment at Fort Bliss, TX. This role is contingent upon contract award and will be submitted as key personnel as part of a federal proposal. This is a time sensitive, proposal driven role requiring immediate availability. Only fully qualified candidates who meet all clearance, certification, and experience requirements at the time of application will be considered. No exceptions. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Government and will be responsible for all technical, administrative, and contractual aspects of performance. This role requires hands on leadership of IT Help Desk operations, ensuring a stable, secure, and operational IT environment. A second candidate may be designated as Alternate Project Manager, and all candidates must meet identical qualification standards. Duties Lead day to day IT Help Desk operations including ticket intake, prioritization, escalation, and resolution across phone, email, and in person channels Serve as the primary point of contact for Government stakeholders across all technical, administrative, and contractual matters Provide leadership, direction, and supervision of all assigned personnel including workforce planning, staffing, performance management, and professional development Ensure adequate coverage, manage surge requirements, and maintain a fully qualified and certified workforce aligned with contract requirements Oversee support for desktop systems, network connectivity, telephony, and peripheral devices Establish, monitor, and report on performance metrics and service level objectives to ensure high quality service delivery and continuous process improvement Implement quality assurance measures, identify trends, and drive corrective actions as needed Oversee support for both existing and newly deployed hardware and software environments Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, email configuration, and common enterprise software tools Ensure all personnel maintain required certifications and technical proficiency consistent with Department of Defense requirements Ensure delivery of services that maintain a stable, secure, and operational IT environment with timely response and resolution of service requests Oversee ticket management processes, quality assurance, and continuous service improvement initiatives Qualifications Active Secret Security Clearance required and must be in place at time of application CompTIA A+ certification required, active and current at time of application CompTIA Security+ certification required, active and current at time of application Windows based computing environment certification required and must be current at time of application Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Windows 10 or equivalent required Certifications are not flexible and must be active at time of submission and day one of performance Demonstrated experience supporting Department of Defense environments required, Army experience preferred Proven leadership experience managing IT Help Desk operations and technical teams in a DoD environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office products, and Adobe tools Additional Requirements Must be located in or able to work on site at Fort Bliss, TX Remote or telework is not permitted on a routine basis Must be available immediately to support proposal timelines and interview process Must be willing and able to support proposal submission requirements, including resume submission as part of key personnel package Travel required approximately 7 days per month, primarily CONUS, with potential for OCONUS travel Standard schedule Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Compensation Estimated salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, clearance, and final contract pricing structure. Final compensation will align with a firm fixed price, lowest price technically acceptable contract model.
