  • Level 4 for the Aeronautics Sustainment Digital & Business Transformation (D&BT) team which is responsible for shaping the future of sustainment work through digital process innovation. What You Will Be Doing As the Project Engineer
  • Process Transformation Lead
  • Level 4 you will be responsible for guiding the Sustainment Business Process Transformation initiative.
"Your responsibilities will include:" Lead the development of cross‑functional, digitally transformed business processes to create the Sustainment digital process architecture. Collaborate with process modelers to map, analyze, and eliminate inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and identify automation opportunities. Coordinate with E&T, SCM, Ops, and other stakeholders to manage process dependencies and drive integration decisions. Establish and govern the Sustainment Automation pipeline (RPA, AI, workflow), linking functional teams with automation delivery. Track transformation performance metrics, measure impact, and maintain the project roadmap. Who You Are You are a collaborative engineering leader with a strong background in business process redesign and digital automation. You thrive on translating complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions and enjoy partnering across functions to drive measurable improvements. Basic Qualifications:
Experience modeling and improving business processes using a variety of tools and techniques Experience with project management processes and methodologies Process documentation and/or implementation experience The ability to act as liaison conveying business process needs to a variety of stakeholders Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and deliver on commitments Experience with business process analysis and business adoption strategies
Desired Skills:
Certified Green Belt/Black Belt with Lean Six Sigma experience Familiarity with Sustainment with an understanding of the Integrated Product Support Elements including processes and tools Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to influence other to adopt new ways of working Familiarity with 1LMX Familiarity with process automation (RPA, AI, workflows) Experience with cross-functional process re-engineering Demonstrated experience in organizational change management Experience with leading teams

Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
