$150,000 Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Application Development Manager to join a growing organization in the Coppell, TX area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in both technical execution and team development. You will lead a team of engineers while driving key initiatives around application modernization, system integration, and enterprise platform support. This role requires a balance of leadership, problem-solving, and technical expertise within a fast-paced and evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of developers responsible for application development and support Oversee design, development, and maintenance of applications using .NET, C#, VB.Net, and SQL Manage DevOps pipelines and leverage modern tools including GitHub and AI-driven solutions Collaborate with business and IT teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions Drive application modernization efforts, including legacy system transformation Oversee integrations across WMS, ERP, EDI, API, and other enterprise systems Ensure successful project delivery through effective planning, coordination, and execution Implement and maintain best practices in architecture, security, and change management Manage data migration initiatives and ensure system integrity Partner with vendors and third-party consultants to support business systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of experience leading development teams 5+ years of hands-on software development experience Strong experience with .NET technologies (C#, VB.Net) and SQL databases Experience with API integrations and EDI tools (e.g., Mapforce, Dell Boomi) Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (Red Prairie, Manhattan, Microsoft Dynamics) Experience in agile environments with a focus on collaboration and delivery Project management experience is a plus Understanding of distributed systems, client/server architecture, and cloud platforms Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
