IMPORTANT

This is NOT an entry-level or distribution warehouse role. Candidates must have direct experience supervising warehouse operations in a refinery, chemical plant, or industrial facility. Position Overview OnPoint Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations supporting plant maintenance and reliability at a refinery site in Port Arthur, TX. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate has direct plant or refinery warehouse experience , is comfortable leading teams, and has working knowledge of SAP or similar inventory systems . Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Lead daily warehouse operations supporting plant maintenance and operations Ensure timely availability of materials for maintenance teams Supervise warehouse personnel, storekeepers, and contract resources Coordinate receiving, issuing, staging, and material movement Maintain safe and compliant warehouse operations Inventory Control Maintain accurate inventory for large-volume MRO warehouse Perform cycle counts and support physical inventories Identify and reduce surplus or obsolete inventory Ensure proper material handling and storage practices Systems & Process Utilize SAP (or similar system) for inventory transactions and tracking Support improvements in inventory processes (Min/Max, kitting, staging) Work with maintenance and planning teams to support material readiness Track and report inventory usage and key warehouse metrics Vendor & Material Coordination Coordinate with vendors on material deliveries and issues Support repairable parts process and material tracking Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications 3+ years supervising warehouse operations in a refinery, chemical plant, or industrial environment Experience supporting plant maintenance or operations Hands-on experience with: Inventory control Receiving, issuing, and staging materials Experience using SAP or similar inventory management system Strong leadership and communication skills Must be local to Port Arthur / Beaumont area Preferred Experience supporting turnarounds or outage work Experience in MRO warehouse environments Knowledge of material kitting and staging practices Work Environment Plant / refinery environment On-call responsibilities as needed Extended hours during outages or operational events Compensation $65+/hour depending on experience Full-time position This Role Is NOT a Fit For Entry-level warehouse candidates Retail or distribution-only warehouse experience Candidates without industrial or plant experience ional excellence!
