Duties Help As a IT Program Manager, GS-2210-14 NF , you will perform the following duties: Provide technical and operional expertise for assigned IT program areas, providing advice, guidance, and recommendions regarding technical IT systems, functions, tools, and processes across the NSF to OCIO and NSF leaders. Serve as Project Manager and Subject Mter Expert (SME) on a variety of IT projects and/or portfolios, coordine the efforts of the project teams, and serve as a primary source of ste-of-the-art informion in unified communicions plforms, products, and services. This includes developing and overseeing the execution of project plans, milestones, requirements, schedules, budgets, and deliverables, and developing and maintaining annual and multi-year IT financial plans. Ensure IT projects align with the overall organizional IT requirements, schedule, budget, and reporting mechanisms; and comply with federal high-quality IT standards. Coordine cross-functional project teams to ensure integrion across systems, functions, and organizional lines. Leads implemention teams in deploying new technologies, processes, and policies; and supports overall change management and stakeholder engagement. Support program and project-reled IT contract activities, including pre-planning, acquisition stregy, contract execution, modificion, and closeout, ensuring alignment with agency objectives and federal regulions; and support the development of IT budgets for assigned projects, portfolios, and/or programs. Build and maintain strong relionships and stregic partnerships with OCIO staff and IT partners; and develop influential relionships with key stakeholders. Lead and/or monitor the conduct of broad analytical and evaluion studies, reviews, and analyses of policies, performance, and trends. Prepare issue papers, stus reports, and executive presentions on IT program progress, risks, and opportunities, informing policy and operional decisions. IT Systems Lifecycle Process:
Planning and designing system requirements. Installing and deploying hardware, software, opering systems, etc. Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues. Ensuring system compibility, retiring, sanitizing, and disposing of outded systems.
IT Dabase Management:
Storing, protecting, and retrieving large volumes of structured and unstructured da Overseeing dabase back-ups and restoring da as needed. Supporting the process of extracting, manipuling, and analyzing da using a variety of tools. Maintaining informion about da structure, relionships, and constraints, and identifying dabase gaps and offering solutions for improvement.
