Job Description

Overview The successful candidate will join the Maintenance team to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Contract (CMOE) located at NASA's Langley Research Center (LaRC). This position reports directly to the Asset Information Manager. All work will be performed with a high standard of quality and professionalism. All safety policies and procedures must be followed. Salary dependent on education and experience.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities Project Orchestration:
Lead the planning and execution of technical roadmaps, ensuring data management and reporting projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Process Architecture:
Evaluate existing data workflows to identify bottlenecks; design and implement automated or optimized processes to improve team efficacy.
Product Delivery:
Manage the development of digital tools and dashboards, ensuring they meet user requirements and maintain high standards of UI/UX.
Data Packaging:
Oversee the transformation of raw datasets into polished, consumable formats for executive stakeholders and external partners.
Cross-Functional Liaison:
Translate complex technical requirements into business logic for non-technical stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for project health. Requirements U.S. Citizenship required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Analysis or related field is required. Minimum two (2) years of experience with data analysis and/or project management required. Relevant certifications and experience can be substituted for education. Experience managing projects involving SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data warehousing concepts. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies as applied to data engineering and tool creation. Ability to interrogate data for quality and consistency before it reaches the final packaging stage. Exceptional ability to document technical processes and present data stories to diverse audiences.
