20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment

Baby Bonding Leave:
18 weeks

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in program management. 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
Preferred qualifications:
Master Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects. Experience in Cloud, Technical infrastructure, or Networking Planning. About the job Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams. As Technical Program Manager for Cloud Networking, you will be a key leader driving complex, cross-functional programs to manage capacity for Google's complex network infrastructure. You will lead a team of Technical Program Managers and Program Managers, providing the technical acumen and networking domain expertise required to interface with Global Networking Infrastructure and deliver business results leveraging investigative models. You will be responsible to support both networking key programs and parallel process future ready requirements which need to integrate at an enterprise level. You and your team act as the central point for understanding and managing Google Cloud demand, ensuring that sufficient capacity is available to meet current and future needs while optimizing efficiency and minimizing risks. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000-$334,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Define and drive long-term programs addressing significant networking challenges, influencing direction across Cloud. Exercise expert technical judgment to identify dependencies and oversee technical roadmaps for Networking Capacity Planning. Lead and manage a Technical Program Management organization, resolving resource priorities and driving increasing maturity into program portfolios. Own relationships with highly technical partners, including Networking Product Managers and Software Engineers, to align objectives.
