STARTING PAY RANGE
117,540•126,685 per year •Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external)will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Enterprise Applications Manager provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the College's enterpriseapplication environment which consists of Workday, Salesforce, SharePoint, Kentico, and integrations with affiliated systems such as CanvasLMS, coursecurriculum management, and student payments. This position ensures enterprise systems effectively support NWTC's mission,strategic priorities, and operational needs through strong people leadership, disciplined project management, and effective applicationlifecycle management. The role serves as one of the key liaisons between Information and Instructional Technology (IIT), functionaldepartments, and external vendors for all enterprise applications. Workday serves as NWTC's strategic enterprise platform, supportingcore administrative and operational functions across the College. The Enterprise Applications Manager provides leadership and stewardshipfor Workday to ensure the platform is stable, secure, integrated, and continuously aligned with institutional priorities. This includesoverseeing configuration, integration, data management, vendor partnerships, new features enablement, and continuous optimization of theplatform. The Enterprise Applications Manager fulfills three integrated leadership roles-Personnel Management, Project Management,and Application Management-and plays a critical role in aligning enterprise technology solutions with College goals while ensuring reliable,secure, and high-quality service delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Personnel Management Provide directsupervision, leadership, coaching, and performance management for Enterprise Applications team. Foster a collaborative,service-oriented team culture that supports professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvement. Establish clearexpectations, priorities, and performance goals aligned with IIT and College objectives. Ensure appropriate staffing coverage forapplication operations, projects, and institutional initiatives. Project Management Plan, manage, and overseeenterprise application projects, including system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations. Coordinate resources,timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects. Partner with functional stakeholders to gather requirements,prioritize work, and deliver solutions that meet College needs. Ensure projects follow established governance, documentation, andchange management practices. Application Management Serve as the College's primary application owner for Workday , providing strategic and operational leadership across Workday modules (HCM, Finance, and Student). Ensure Workday isconfigured, maintained, and optimized to support NWTC business processes, data integrity, and institutional priorities. Oversee theadministration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of other enterprise applications supporting College operations. Ensureapplication availability, performance, security, and data integrity. Lead integration efforts to ensure effective data flow betweenenterprise systems and related applications. Establish standards and best practices for application support, troubleshooting,documentation, and lifecycle management. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact forenterprise application vendors, including coordination of support, issue resolution, and contract oversight. Collaborate withcross-functional stakeholders and leadership to identify application needs and improvement opportunities. Evaluate new technologiesand solutions; provide recommendations aligned with College strategy and resources. Strategy & ContinuousImprovement Contribute to the development and execution of the College's enterprise application strategy and roadmap incoordination of the Senior Director of IIT/CIO and other IIT leaders. Monitor service levels, project outcomes, and systemperformance using established metrics. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance service quality, efficiency, and userexperience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in related field. Experience withWorkday HR, Finance, and Student. Strong technical understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, and ITinfrastructure. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical and application developers in a complexenvironment. Effective project management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Strong analytical and problem-solvingabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technicalaudiences. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead changes in a dynamic environment. Experience withMicrosoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft.

NET, and GitHub is a plus. Workday EnterprisePlatform Proficiency overseeing and administering the Workday platform, including configuration oversight, security governance,reporting, integrations, and vendor coordination. Enterprise Application Integrations Experience managing integrationsbetween Workday and other enterprise systems, ensuring secure, reliable data exchange across platforms. Microsoft365 Proficient use of Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) to support collaboration, communication,documentation, and project coordination. Cloud & Enterprise Infrastructure Awareness Working knowledge of cloud platformsand enterprise infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, identity and access management concepts) sufficient to lead teams and evaluatesolutions. Reporting & Data Analysis Tools Experience understanding enterprise reporting and analytics, including Workdayreporting and related data tools, to support operational and decision-making needs. Must hold a valid driver's license and beinsurable under the District's standard insurance policy terms. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to supportcritical system activities or major implementations. •An equivalent combination of education and work experience may beconsidered.
