Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cell Phone Technician and become a vital part of providing top-tier mobile device support and repair services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of smartphones and tablets, ensuring customers receive quick, reliable solutions. Your expertise will help customers stay connected and confident in their devices, fostering trust and satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms. Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, soldering of small components, and other hardware fixes using hand tools. Troubleshoot operating systems like Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to resolve software glitches or malfunctions. Use schematics and technical manuals to analyze device circuitry and identify faults accurately. Conduct software troubleshooting to restore device functionality or update operating systems. Provide technical support to customers both in-store and via field service calls, explaining repair processes clearly. Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Assist with retail sales by advising customers on device features, accessories, and maintenance best practices. Experience Prior experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets is highly preferred. Knowledge of operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, Windows is essential for diagnosing issues effectively. Hands-on experience with soldering techniques and using hand tools for delicate repairs is a strong plus. Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting software conflicts enhances your effectiveness. Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware or software problems quickly. Experience providing technical support in a retail or field service setting demonstrates excellent customer service ability.
