Internship, Android Engineer, Mobile Software (Fall 2026)

Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue through fall term (ending approximately December 2026 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

Our Mobile Applications Engineering team is responsible for Tesla's best-in-class mobile app which includes exciting features such as: smart summon, climate controls, keyless entry, and sentry mode. Design, code, and maintain mobile user experiences Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability Work with a cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or a related field with a gradation date between 2026 - 2027 Familiar with Swift, Kotlin, or Typescript. Android, and/or iOS Experience with React/React Native and Kotlin is preferred Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts, good at solving complex technical problems Experience using common design patterns.
