200660326-3543 The iPhone revolutionized how people live, communicate, and connect. Come help transform how more than a billion people make their most personal device uniquely theirs. We're looking for a creative, customer-focused, technical manager to drive the iOS Wallpaper experience. Our team (iOS System Spaces) is responsible for a significant portion of the iOS system experience including wallpapers, lock screen, home screen, and control center! Come work with a fantastic team of engineers, world class designers, and an incredibly strong set of peers to deliver the best mobile experience on the planet! Description We're looking for someone passionate about taking iOS to the next level. You will lead the team at the forefront of personal customization for the most popular software platform to ever exist. Wallpapers are a critical component of the new iOS Lock Screen experience shipped in iOS 16 and this team is responsible for the infrastructure that powers them. Make no mistake, this job has challenges. If you're not •exceedingly• passionate about building the best mobile experience, this role is not right for you.

Our team is here to make a difference. To "put a ding in the universe," and that's not easy. You'll be expected to push the envelope. To ship compelling designs at the very edge of what's technically possible. To challenge your engineers, peers, manager, and various senior leaders to push things forward. You'll have a voice in the room as critical decisions are made that will affect, impact, and improve the day-to-day lives of countless individuals. Minimum Qualifications BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred. Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design Experience developing with UIKIT, SWIFTUI, or other application frameworks Open-Minded with strong Collaboration skills Not kidding about this, you will be learning constantly and collaborating extensively with peer teams, designers, teams across apple, and senior leaders Preferred Qualifications Charismatic leader capable of inspiring your team and others to action Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to think laterally and ask incisive (and sometimes foolish) questions Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $188,200 and $325,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
Note:
Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program. Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity. We seek to promote equal opportunity for all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, Veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics. At Apple, we believe accessibility is a fundamental human right. You'll find that idea reflected in everything here — in our culture, our benefits and our digital tools.
