$155,000 - $175,000 (flexible) Overview We are partnering with a well-funded, high-growth startup to identify a Lead SWIFT/iOS Software Engineer . This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering the chance to play a critical leadership role in shaping the company s software engineering function as it scales. This position is highly hands-on and impactful, combining technical leadership with active development. The ideal candidate will take ownership of architecture, contribute production-level code, and drive key software decisions across the product. Key Responsibilities Define and own the architecture and technical direction for iOS (Swift) applications and device interfaces Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications Build and support web interfaces and backend services (Google Cloud Platform preferred) Serve as a key decision-maker for cross-functional product and engineering initiatives Lead integration efforts across software, firmware, and hardware teams (no prior firmware/hardware experience required) Establish and evolve development standards, best practices, and CI/CD pipelines Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainability Required Qualifications Strong experience developing iOS applications using Swift, particularly those interfacing with medical devices Proven ability to own and deliver software products end-to-end Experience working across both mobile and web platforms Hands-on development experience with RESTful APIs Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Google Cloud Platform (AWS is also acceptable) Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines Experience in medical device environments, including knowledge of
ISO 13485 / IEC 62304
