Technical Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate is leading the architecture and development of high-performance, scalable mobile applications with a strong focus on code quality and engineering excellence.

Rate Range:

$49/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Lead Job Responsibilities include:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex Android applications ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability. Define technical standards, enforce SOLID principles, and guide adoption of modern Android technologies including Jetpack libraries and Jetpack Compose. Design and implement responsive, high-quality UI experiences across multiple Android device form factors. Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to enable reliable and efficient releases. Ensure code quality through detailed code reviews, unit and UI testing, and comprehensive technical documentation. Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, user-focused features aligned with business goals.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (master's degree preferred). 8-10 years of professional experience in Android application development. Proven hands-on expertise with advanced Kotlin, Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, and Jetpack Compose for building scalable applications. Strong experience leading Android teams, establishing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and mentoring developers while enforcing best engineering practices. Pay Details:
