About the
Role:
As a CBRE Sr. Engineer - Mobile, you will be responsible for maintaining multiple mechanical and electrical equipment for large commercial HVAC systems across various client locations. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.What You'll Do:
Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain advanced electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment in various locations. Calibrate instruments, gauges, and control components on-site. Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment at multiple client sites. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety standards at each location. • Troubleshoot complex equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications, often in dynamic on-site environments. Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. Coach and mentor junior technicians during on-site work, providing guidance and training. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent withCBRE RISE
values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view. Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multidiscipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies. Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals. Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence both clients and team members. Manage your own schedule, travel arrangements, and on-site logistics effectively. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and client interactions. Utilize mobile devices and software for scheduling, reporting, and communication. Proactively identify and report potential safety hazards and maintenance needs.
