Locals DL & LinkedIn needed Android, Java and C++ is a must Embedded work with tv applications nice to have Its an Android Developer with embedded experience 12 month Contract Rate is 63/h w2 to the candidates Must haves: Android Kotlin Java Embedded, TV, IOT Only people that can work oin y w2 with no sponsorship now or in the future looking for an Android developer with experience in an Agile REST development team, based in Hilton's offices in Memphis, TN. This team member represents the technical expertise necessary to develop software from conceptual design according to standard practices of development, code structure, application performance capabilities, re-use of code logic, unit tests and maintainability for all application component logic for an Android application.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 8-10 year experience as a developer responsible for Android application. Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in Java EE development including Java 8 & 11. Strong knowledge of Android SDK. Experience building modern Android applications using Android Jetpack. Experience in IoT and WeSocket will be considered a major preference. Experience developing using Android SDK "Leanback" library (TV) will be considered a plus. Experience building Java based microservices (for example with Spring Boot) will be considered a plus. Experience in Agile Kanban and Scrum development frameworks. Experience establishing repeatable code practices and standards. Experience facilitating technical decisions & discussions with other developers. Experience with Test-Driven Development using Cucumber or equivalent frameworks. Experience implementing mock interfaces for testing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong referenced experience with technical teams and projects in both new development and maintenance.
