Mobile Engineer Location:
Nashville, Tennessee (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated professional to ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of critical facility and building systems across multiple sites. Our team values expertise and technical versatility as we prioritize safety, reliability, and high performance in every aspect of facility management.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems across designated facilities. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, monitor equipment performance, clean, inspect, calibrate, and replace parts within HVAC and associated systems as required. Oversee facility services including purchasing, inventory control, contracted maintenance, general upkeep, and ensure technical proficiency is maintained throughout facilities. Conduct routine checks of tools and instruments, monitor the quality and pricing of contractor work, and uphold departmental policies for safety, hazardous material use, and workplace cleanliness.
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent education. 5-7 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, with technical expertise in electrical, HVAC, piping/plumbing, or central utility plant operations. EPA 608 Type II Certification and proficiency in the use of computer applications such as Word and Excel. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between facilities as needed.
