In your role, you will: Help us build omni-channel user experiences and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence Work on building entire features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our autonomous, multi-functional teams Have the opportunity to supply ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn Provide technical leadership and mentoring to more junior team members The Expertise and Skills You Bring Designing, developing, and maintaining Mobile applications in a fast-paced environment 6+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Android apps using Kotlin Solid understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience working in an agile development environment Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging Experience optimizing Android applications for performance and responsiveness Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and other relevant tools Experience using third-party libraries and APIs in Android development Knowledge of mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies used in creating performant and resilient Android Apps Your advanced Git skills and respective branching strategies Understanding of RESTful APIs Understanding of accessibility features on Android and building accessible experiences on Android will be a plus Understanding how to use Gen AI tools like Copilot or Gemini Please be advised that Fidelity's business is governed by the provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, numerous state laws governing securities, investment and retirement-related financial activities and the rules and regulations of numerous self-regulatory organizations, including FINRA, among others.
