job summary: Understanding of accessibility features on Android and building accessible experiences on Android will be a plus Understanding how to use Gen AI tools like Copilot or Gemini location: Salt Lake City, Utah job type: Contract salary: $64 - 65 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Designing, developing, and maintaining Mobile applications in a fast-paced environment6+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Android apps using KotlinSolid understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structuresExperience leading and mentoring junior engineersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExperience working in an agile development environmentExperience with unit testing, integration testing, and debuggingExperience optimizing Android applications for performance and responsivenessFamiliarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and other relevant toolsExperience using third-party libraries and APIs in Android developmentKnowledge of mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies used in creating performant and resilient Android Apps qualifications: Your advanced Git skills and respective branching strategies
