HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING AT A PRINT SHOP
Overview We are seeking a creative and driven Graphic Designer / Marketer to join a printing company in Moorpark, Ca. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a print shop and posses a strong understanding of branding and digital marketing strategies, with the ability to create compelling visual content that resonates with our target audience. This role requires a blend of artistic talent and technical skills, making it essential for the Marketer to be proficient in various design software and marketing tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with brand objectives. Create visually engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing. Able to do everything in the print store (ie banners, prepping, weeding, operating printers, loading, packaging, trash, cleanup, etc) Design a variety of print products, including business cards, flyers, brochures, banners, signs, apparel, and more Review, edit, and prepare customer-submitted files for printing (prepress). Ensure all designs meet print specifications (bleeds, resolution, color profiles, etc.). Manage the shop's presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn. Create engaging content (photos, videos, stories) that showcases printed products, behind-the-scenes production, and promotions Track order progress and ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction Skills Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite). Printshop or design studio experience (minimum 1 to 2 years) Print & Logo Design skills (Adobe Illustrator & photoshop, worst case fluent in CANVA) Experience creating invoices in Quickbooks Web design and/or web maintenance skills Knowledge of local SEO or Google Business Profile optimization Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation ie Instagram, Tik Tok, etc) Photography or video editing for content creation
