Immediately after interviews About the Project The Dusoma Foundation and Taza Impact are preparing a major public-facing project for June 6 (Los Alamos Chamber Fest), and "Hidden Pride" on June 12. We and are looking for a creative, hands-on assistant who can jump in immediately and help bring ideas to life. You'll help create visual displays, assist with textile and fashion-related projects, develop social media content, plan a Flash Dance Event, build presentation materials, and help tell the story of queer refugees in East Africa, creative resistance, and creativity. The ideal candidate is a chaos muppet who can do three things: they can use technology, make art and be public facing outreach. To explain, that means you can help us make the physical displays and plan the Dusoma Foundation presence at these two events, plus actually talk to people during the open hours of the events, plus, and a bonus, if you understand enough about vibe coding that understanding that whipping up a simple app to allow us to capture emails, what's app channel and Instagram - and that making that into an app we can all use at the event, so we can get people's contact info before we re-locate the foundation… we've looking for a smart cookie who can wear a lot of hats. Or, if you can't do any of these things and you're an incredible puppeteer … fine, just write to us. If you enjoy making things, solving problems, and turning ideas into reality quickly, this may be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing Art Skills Assisting with the creation of three tri-fold display boards Mod Podge, collage, and mixed-media display work Organizing textiles, fabric samples, and patterns with custom stickers Assisting with sewing, quilting, or fabric projects (optional) Helping prepare materials for public events and exhibits Video (creating, editing, publishing) Tech Skills ChatGPT and Gemini Claude Vibe Coding (optional but preferred) Canva graphics (if you also know Illustrator, let us know) QR code creation and testing Social media content creation (Instagram and TikTok required) Photography and documentation WhatsApp Channel management Able to create a blog post Social Skills- Chaos Muppet
