Job Description Primary Responsibilities:

Create and animate content for clients to utilize for training, education, entertainment, and product marketing. Promote better animation practices for improved workflow efficiency. Learn and bring new ideas/ solutions to improve the look of ghOSt.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Contribute to the creative vision of our animation projects to help develop strong aesthetics Collaborate with other members of the team to best plan productions and facilitate storytelling Increase skills and usefulness of new employees added to your group. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Creating visually engaging content from pre-production assets. Effectively communicating client ideas through a visual medium. Meeting production deadlines. Teamwork. Updating project management software on a daily basis and accurately logging time on projects utilizing SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) to coordinate projects with other team members. Incorporating client feedback into projects Discovering new techniques for the 3D production process that makes for a more visually stunning product and a stronger, more efficient production pipeline. Fulfilling objectives and directives of directors and managers. Ideal Candidate Strong animation skills and portfolio showcasing their abilities Understanding of animation principles, techniques and software in Maya. Good collaboration and communication skills. The ability to be self-sufficient. Passion for animation and willingness to continuously learn and improve Interest in the biomed field. Ability to work well under tight deadlines and manage time effectively. Creative problem-solving skills. Medical illustration training and experience is a large bonus. Employee Success Consistently producing high-quality, accurate and engaging medical animations. Meeting project deadlines and contributing to the successful completion of projects. Independence. Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Following production SOPs. Improving technical skills and expanding knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Must-Have Qualifications Relevant experience creating medical animations for a variety of contexts, such as patient education, surgical planning, or scientific visualization. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Knowledge of medical visualization and simulation software. Ability to interpret and translate complex medical information into clear and engaging animations. Familiarity with medical imaging and data visualization techniques. Demonstrated ability to work with medical professionals and adhere to medical accuracy standards. Minimum Industry Experience At least 1 year of professional animation experience. Portfolio demonstrating strong animation skills (applicant provided link) Experience with industry-standard software (3 years minimum) Understanding of animation principles, techniques, and pipelines Ability to work in a team environment and meet project deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to continuously learn and improve. Tools/Software Needed Maya, Photoshop and AfterFX are the only softwares that are absolutely needed. Competency in the rest of the Adobe Suite. 3DS Max, Houdini, Zbrush, etc are a bonus, but not a qualifier. Hiring Dealbreakers Not able to work in the United States. No Maya experience. No interest in bio-med. What growth opportunities exist for this role? Work up to a lead position potential. How many rounds of interviews will you hold? 2 What is expected in the first 90 days? Completed bulk of animation needed for 3+ projects with little need for assistance
