- Full-time The Visual Communications Designer serves as a strategic creative partner across the organization, responsible for translating complex concepts, data and initiatives into clear, compelling, and engaging visual and multimedia experiences within a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
This role blends high‑level creative thinking with strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure work is delivered efficiently, consistently and at a high standard of quality. The position plays a critical role in elevating enterprise design deliverables by leading creative execution across presentations, video, webinars, digital experiences and brand assets; while also contributing to and improving processes, timelines and communication standards that help teams work better together. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop high‑impact presentations, reports, infographics, videos, webinars, and digital assets that clearly communicate complex data, regulatory concepts and business initiatives. Own and evolve the organization's corporate identity and brand standards by maintaining, and improving brand guidelines, while ensuring all creative assets and outputs are consistent, accessible and aligned across channels. Apply advanced storytelling, data visualization, and design principles to make information clear and engaging for diverse audiences. Lead video production efforts from concept through delivery, including storyboarding, filming coordination, editing, and post‑production. Advance enterprise data visualization standards by applying current design trends, AI tools, and emerging technologies to improve the clarity and impact of complex data. Lead creative projects from request through delivery, partnering with internal stakeholders to define scope, objectives, audiences, success criteria and timelines. Improve creative workflows, intake processes, and marketing operations to increase efficiency and consistency. Support ongoing website and digital experience enhancements, including UX/UI‑focused design for landing pages and graphics. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in creative, marketing, or design roles, including significant experience developing executive‑level presentations and multimedia content. Demonstrated experience managing creative projects with multiple stakeholders and complex timelines. Required Skills Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva. Advanced PowerPoint expertise, including master slides, visual storytelling, animation, and multimedia integration. Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels, including senior leadership. Data visualization experience with demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, visually compelling content. Preferred Skills Video creation and editing experience, including concept development and post‑production. Agency experience is preferred. Insurance industry experience is preferred. Experience supporting UX/UI design for websites or digital experiences (e.g., page layouts, landing pages, visual components or usability‑focused design). Experience using AI tools and project management practices to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and support effective delivery of creative work.
